Those little brown and orange heralds of Spring here in the Northeast are back and they brought a beautiful day with them. It's in the 50-60 degree range with a nice little wind to dry things out. We may be jumping the gun a little bit, but I am gathering with friends for a BBQ this evening. Grilled sausage, great company, and playoff hockey. Playoff hockey? That's a little off topic, but the Boston Bruins start the playoffs tonight. You can't help but be a hockey fan in New England tonight.
Back to the BBQ - we'll end up eating indoors tonight. It still gets cold quick when the sun goes down. Soon, that won't be the case. Your patio, porch, deck, or soft lawn will invite you out of the kitchen. It's a great time of year to eat outdoors. The bugs are not out yet, the days are longer, and you don't need to worry about crumbs. Something about eating outdoors makes any meal special. I am always exited by it. Maybe I am connecting with the 10 year old scout eating a blackened marshmallow off a branch (can anyone cook these without burning them). Or maybe it's the 5 year old playing cowboy under the stars. I just feel free. "Summertime, and the living is easy."
SYW now is offering a beautiful line of durable wicker in addition to our returning metal retro style furniture. Both lines look great on our extensive collection of indoor/outdoor rugs: Bold Braids, Heritage Braids, Sturbridge Braids and our Pemaquid Braids. We sell a lot of these rugs. Our customers love them and they provide years of easy beauty. Bring Spring to your special space under the stars (or even on the porch).
Let us know how we can help.
John
