It snowed again today. That puts Portland, Maine under 100+ inches of snow for the year and my outdoor plans on the shelf. It's been a banner season for snow.
I'm not complaining, mind you. I'll savor Spring and Summer all the more for days like these. I do feel for our Art Department though. For the last two weeks they have been tackling primary photography for our Summer and Fall seasons. It's amazing when I see finished shots for our Summer book that I know were taken with a foot of snow still on the ground in some places. Take a look at this shot from last year. There was ice on that water and snow in the yard. Nice and Sunny though. Through great design, New England ingenuity, a little camera magic a wonderful image can be created. It's what we do. We collect inspiration, present it beautifully, and help everyone dream of what they want. We've been doing it for a long time and we love doing it.
The snow is still here, but I can imagine Spring right around the corner. Let us know how we can help you with your dreams.
